Senior journalists have begun a discussion with the Election Commission about possible electoral reforms ahead of the next parliamentary election.
The discussion started around 10:15am with 22 senior journalists and editors at the Election Commission office in Agargaon, our correspondent reports from the spot.
Among the senior journalists and editors present in the discussion were Amanullah Kabir, Nurul Kabir, Kazi Siraj, Nayeem Nizam, Imdadul Haq Milon, Shyamal Dutta, Motiur Rahman Chowdhury.
Gradually, the Election Commission is expected to hold more meetings with other political parties and stakeholders in the follow through to the next parliamentary polls.
