The HSC Accounting second paper’s objective examination has been held with the question paper that was leaked on social networking sites the night before the test.
A number of students have confirmed bdnews24.com of the similarity after the exam ended at 1pm on Monday.
At 2:33am on Monday, one of the examinees uploaded the question paper on Facebook commenting that he had received the question paper from a friend.
After the exam ended, the leaked question paper was compared to the original one and it was found that all 40 multiple choice questions (MCQ) were the exact same.
The HSC Accounting paper’s objective part deals with 40 MCQs carrying 40 marks. The rest 60 marks are allotted for a 2-hour written exam.
The examinee told bdnews24.com, “I uploaded the question paper on Facebook to check if the questions actually match. I found out in the exam hall that it matched 100 percent.”
However, when contacted, the education minister and the education secretary declined comment on the matter.
Inter-education Board Coordination Subcommittee President Professor Abu Bakar Siddique told the reporters, “The exam controller would talk to you first. Later we will look into the matter.”
Controller of Examination under Dhaka Board Srikanta Kumar Chanda asked for that student’s Facebook ID to bdnews24.com.
The controller also wondered why an examinee would ‘search for question papers’ on Facebook late at night instead of studying for the test to be held next day.
