Musa will be buried at his family graveyard following his last namaz-e-janaza after Magrib prayer

People from all walks of lives have gathered at the National Press Club to bid farewell to veteran journalist ABM Musa on Thursday afternoon.

ABM Musa died at the age of 83 on Wednesday.

Politicians, senior journalists, academics, cultural activists, civil society members and commoners paid their last tribute to Musa by placing wreaths at his coffin from 12:30pm to 1:30pm.

Later, a vehicle carrying with the journalist’s body left for his village home Kutubpur in Feni around 2:05pm.

Musa will be buried at his family graveyard following his last namaz-e-janaza after Magrib prayer.

Earlier, Musa’s body was taken to National Press Club premises around 12 noon.

Industries Minister Tofail Ahmed, Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu, BNP’s Standing Committee Member Barrister Moudud Ahmed and Acting Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, among the others, took part in the namaz-e-janaza.
