ইতিহাসের কান্না এবং কান্নার ইতিহাস
আমাদের দেশে অনেক কান্না ইতিহাস হয়ে রয়েছে। এই ধরনের ঐতিহাসিক কান্না শুরু হয়েছিল এরশাদের জমানায়। আর বর্তমান সময়ে তা সর্বোচ্চ মাত্রায় পৌছে গেছে। স্বৈর শাসকদের অনেকগুলি বৈশিষ্টের মধ্যে এটিও একটি অন্যতম বৈশিষ্ট্য। জনগণের প্রতি ভালোবাসা দেখাতে গিয়ে এই ভন্ডরা প্রায়ই কেঁদে ওঠেন। মুশকিল হলো, এসব সার্কাস দেখে জনগনের পেট ফুলে উঠলেও হাসতে পারে না।
ব্লগার রাজীব নিহত হওয়ার পর সবচেয়ে বেশি মাতম বা বিলাপ করেছিলেন আমাদের অগ্নিকন্যা মতিয়া চৌধুরী…। রাজীবকে নিয়ে তার সেই মাতম অনেকেরই স্মরণে আছে। রাজীবের মৃত্যুতে শোকাহত মতিয়া চৌধুরীর চেয়ে অনেক স্বাভাবিক মনে হচ্ছিল রাজীবের নিজের বাবা মাকে। তারপরেও তাদেরকে সান্ত্বনা জানাতে প্রধানমন্ত্রী রাজীবের বাসায় চলে গিয়েছিলেন। এই ধরনের অভিনয় গত ছয় বছরে জাতি অনেক দেখেছে।
এবার আগুনে পোড়া মানুষের ছবি দেখিয়ে সংসদে কাঁদলেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী। তার সাথে কাঁদলেন স্পীকার ও বিরোধী দলীয় নেত্রী। কাঁদলো সারা সংসদ। সংসদ নেত্রী ও বিরোধী নেত্রীর এই যুগল কান্না দেখে দেশবাসী সত্যিই বিপদে পড়ে গেছেন। অনেকেই মতিউর রহমান রেন্টুর ‘আমার ফাঁসি চাই’ বইয়ের কাহিনী ও উক্তিগুলি স্মরণ করেছেন ।
ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং পরিভাষায় ‘ রুট কজ এনালাইসিস’ নামে একটি শব্দ রয়েছে। দেশের সাধারন মানুষ বড় ইঞ্জিনিয়ার বা গবেষক না হলেও এসব প্রতিটি ঘটনার রুট কজ এনালাইসিসটি ঠিকঠাক মতই করতে জানে।
তারা জানে, এই অসহায় মানুষগুলিকে কে বা কারা পুড়িয়েছে কিংবা কার জন্যে তাদের এই দুর্ভোগটি পোহাতে হচ্ছে ।
তত্ত্বাবধায়ক সরকারের মত একটা মিমাংসিত বিষয়কে এক তরফা ভাবে বাতিলের মাধ্যমেই বর্তমান সংকটটি তৈরি করা হয়েছে। কাজেই এই সব ঘটনার কুশলী প্রচারের মাধ্যমে বিরোধী দলের অান্দোলনকে দমানোর প্রচেষ্টা সরকারের জন্যে বুমেরাং হতে পারে। গৃহপালিত বিরোধীদলকে নিয়ে প্রধানমন্ত্রীর এই কান্নার খবরটির নিচে পাঠকদের মন্তব্যগুলি পড়লেই সাধারন জনগণের সচেতনতার উত্তাপটি টের পাওয়া যায়।
হাসিনা ও রওশনের যুগল কান্নার সাথে নিচের গল্পটির অনেক মিল খুজে পাবেন। এই যুগলের কান্নাটি দেখে যতটুকু বিরক্ত লেগেছে- নিচের গল্পটি পড়লে ততটুকু আনন্দ লাগতে পারে।
দুই বোনের বৃদ্ধা মা মারা গেছেন। নিজেরাও অনেক বৃদ্ধ হয়ে পড়েছেন । মায়ের মৃত্যুতে দু বোন সুর করে কাঁদতে থাকে। কিছুক্ষণ পর ছোট বোন বড় বোনকে বলে, ‘ বুবু তুমি কানতে থাহো (কাঁদতে থাকো) , আমি একটু জিরাইয়া (বিশ্রাম করে) লই।

The freedom fighters of our liberation fought the war for long nine months in 1971 without any break. Today’s freedom fighters of democracy may also have to fight a long non-stop war until a government of the people is established by defeating all evil forces who captured power through unfair means. People of Bangladesh is left with no other choice but to come out of their comfort zones and say “No” to this ruthless government. Their resistance needs to be fierce and decisive so that results can be achieved sooner rather than later.
Being a patriotic people’s party, BNP must be feeling bad for the sufferings of the people. But the fact is, BNP led 20 Party opposition showed maximum restraint (for last 12 months) for a peaceful settlement of the current political deadlock by dialogue in order to hold an election that is acceptable to the people. Hasina’s regime unfortunately not only showed a cold shoulder to this legitimate demand of the people, she herself and her party leaders ridiculed BNP’s capacity to challenge the government. Therefore, Hasina will have to take all responsibilities for all these sufferings of the people and anything that may go wrong (all buses are burnt, all garments are set on fire, militancy etc.) and any inconvenience created to the citizens of this country.
If Hasina listens to people and organises a free, fair, credible and inclusive election, this violence will stop immediately. People will vote their representatives in as per their choice. BNP is not wanting to grab power like Awami League did. People are fighting only for a credible election. Is it too much an ask?
