The High Court has ordered the government to conduct laboratory tests of the formalin detector machine ‘Formaldehyde Meter Z-300’.
Bangladesh Standard and Testing Institute (BSTI), Bangladesh Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (BCSIR) and National Food Safety Laboratory have been asked to submit the reports after examining the test within four weeks.
A HC bench of Justice Salma Masud Chowdhury and Justice Md Habibul Gani has passed the order responding to a writ petition lodged by two fruit traders on Monday.
