BNP leader ASM Hannan Shah has been released from prison on Wednesday after securing bail in 6 cases of vandalism.
Kashimpur High-Security Jail’s supervisor Adbur Razzak said that the BNP Standing Committee member was released around 11am after they received the bail papers.
Police arrested Hannan Shah on Nov 25 from Gulshan and named him in 5 cases including one of vandalism on May 5 Hifazat rally last year with the Motijheel Police Station.
He was accused in another case of vandalism registered at Dhaka’s Bhatara Police Station. The court sent the BNP leader in police custody in the case.
Hannan Shah recently secured bail from all the six cases.
