Awami League joint general secretary Mahbub-ul-Alam Hanif on Thursday said he does not rule out BNP’s involvement in the gun attack on Awami League central leader Enamul Haque Shamim.
He said BNP’s suspected involvement in the attack will be investigated.
Hanif voiced his suspicion at an extended meeting of Awami League Dhaka city unit at its office in the city’s Bangabandhu Avenue
Shamim, a former president of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL), was shot and injured unidentified gunmen in Dhanmondi on Thursday morning.
Hanif alleged that BNP is trying to create anarchy in the country to undo the development work of Awami league government
Awami League Dhaka city unit general secretary Mofazzel Hossain Chowdhury Maya announced it will hold a rally at Bangabandhu Avenue on Friday to the attack.
