Law minister Anisul Haque on Tuesday said that the failure of ensuring justice over killing of three bloggers is dangerous for the state.

Anisul, however, said that the government is working very sincerely to arrest the suspects who had involvement in the murders of the bloggers. He vowed that they would face trial.

The law minister was addressing a roundtable, organised by Article-19 at a city hotel. He said the ICT Act has some limitations which should be resolved.

He said the incumbent government has drafted a law for cyber security, and it has been posted on ministry website for evaluation.

He thinks all confusion regarding the ICT Act will be solved when the cyber law is passed.

  1. It is also dangerous that we let go the RAB and law enforcers away with murders. No trials for their misdeeds. Similarly, miscreant acts like firebombing of busses, disappearances and killings of journalists by the government agents and their intelligence services remain unchecked and beyond judicial action. This government had created a terrorist system of ruling for public administration as well stumping all opposition. They created a make belief opposition by a party that belongs to a former dictator against whom we gave blood. In a nutshell, Bangladesh is now totalitarian state faking freedom and democracy. Elections have not been fair for last 8 years.
Bangladesh is racing towards a lawless and singular party state.
