England arrive in Dhaka

England cricket team arrived in Dhaka on Friday evening to play three-match ODI and a two-match Test series against Bangladesh in Dhaka and Chittagong.
An ‘Etihad Airways’ flight carrying the 43-men English team, including 21 officials arrived at Shahjalal International Airport at around 8:30pm.

The English cricket team will start the much-hyped tour with a one-day practice match against BCB XI at Khan Saheb Osman Ali Stadium (KSOAS) in Fatullah on Tuesday (4 October).

Joseph Charles Buttler-led English ODI side will play the first two matches of the day-night series at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS) on 7 and 9 October. The 3rd ODI is scheduled to be held at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong (ZACS) on 12 October.

Alastair Nathan Cook will lead the Test side in this tour for a two-match series starting at ZACS on 20 October. The 2nd Test will start on 28 October at SBNCS.
Ahead of the Test series, the visitors will play two two-day warm-up matches against BCB XI at MA Aziz Stadium in Chittagong. The 1st warm-up match will begin on 14 October while the 2nd one on 16 October.

The English team will leave for home from Dhaka on 2 November.
