Dr Kamal betrayed Bangabandhu by forming Oikyafront: Nasim

Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammad Nasim has said Dr Kamal Hossain has betrayed Bangabandhu by forming Jatiya Oikyafront.
“Today’s Kamal Hossain is who he is because of Awami League…But he has betrayed Bangabandhu by forging alliance with killers,” he said, speaking at a function at Kapasia here.
In the function, Nasim, also a presidium member of Awami League, inaugurated Syeda Johora Tajuddin Nursing College here.
Former State Minister for Home Tanzim Ahmed Sohel Taj, Additional Secretary Badrun Nessa, Directorate General of Nursing and Midwifery Director General Tandra Shikder, Chief Engineer Brigadier General MA Mohi, Gazipur Deputy Commissioner (DC) Dr Dewan Mohammad Humayun Kabir and Nursing College Principal Madhusudan Chakkrabarti, among others, addressed the function with local lawmaker Simin Hossain Rimi in the chair.
Nasim said Dr Kamal Hossain was a young barrister, whom Bangabandhu had made a foreign minister after vacating his (Bangabandhu’s) parliamentary seat to get Kamal electing through a by-election.
