Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Dhaka city unit on Thursday midnight formed a new convening committee with BNP Standing Committee member Mirza Abbas as the convenor.
A Dhaka BNP leader said BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia had approved the newly formed committee, but the new was yet to be announced publicly.
BNP chairperson’s adviser Abdul Awal Minto was made senior joint convenor and 29 others were made joint convenors.
This committee was asked to form full committee within earliest possible time.
Dhaka city BNP’s previous committee was led by convenor Sadek Hossain Khoka and member secretary Abdus Salam.
