Death toll from nine-storey Rana Plaza collapse reaches to 511 on Friday noon as rescuers pulled 63 more bodies out of the concrete rubble 10th day into the collapse.
According to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) control room, the number of people rescued alive remained unchanged at 2,437.
The frantic search for the missing people is going on in full swing as the rescuers have been using heavy equipment to remove the concrete slabs from the ruins.
On Thursday, ISPR Director Shahinul Islam said they were yet to ascertain the number of those missing because they were still waiting for a list of workers present on the day from Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association.
On April 24, Rana Plaza housing five garment factories, a branch of Brac Bank and a shopping complex collapsed trapping an unknown number of people inside it.
On April 28, Rapid Action Battalion arrested Rana at Benapole in Jessore in connection with the two cases filed against him following the building collapse.
On April 29, the Senior Judicial Magistrate Court in Dhaka ordered interrogation of Rana under a 15-day police remand.
