Bikalpa Dhara Bangladesh President AQM Badruddoza Chowdhury on Friday called upon all to get united for what he said to save the country.
“Days for this government are over. Get united to save the country. This country is yours and for all,” he told a public rally at NU Pilot High School premises here, seeking vote for the party candidate.
The former president said the country has made a record for ‘injustice’ during the tenure of the present government through massive corruption, looting of public money, terrorism and price-hike of essentials. “Keep this in mind during the next election.”
Criticizing the Foreign Minister, he said the government has failed to sign the Teesta Water sharing deal and the Land Boundary agreement with India.
B Chowdhury also criticized the government for leakage of BNP senior leader SQ Chowdhury’s verdict before its formal pronouncement.
He said: “If it had happened to any other country, the law minister would have resigned immediately. It’s such a country where cases against Hasina and her boys are withdrawn while cases are lodged against the opposition leaders and activists.”
The BDB president introduced Mahbub Ali as the party candidate for Bogra-5 constituency for the next national election.
Krishak Sramik Janata League (KSJL) President Bangabir Kader Siddiqui also spoke at the rally.
