Court to decide on Khaleda’s release: Anisul

Law Minister Anisul Huq on Sunday said that the court will decide on the release of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia.

“I can say that the court has punished her in the cases against her. So, it is the court which will decide about her release,” the law minister said.

He said this while replying to a question after attending as chief guest an orientation course organised for newly appointed chief judicial and chief metropolitan magistrates at Judicial Administration Training Institute in Dhaka.

Replying to another query about whether anybody from Oikyafront will be included in the election-time government, the minister said PM Hasina will take the decision on this issue.

Meanwhile. the PM has already said the current government will continue till formation of next government so that the ongoing development works are not hampered.

Judicial Administration Training Institute Director General Khondker Musa Khaled and Law Secretary ASSM Zahirul Haque Dulal, among others, spoke at the programme.
