All the accused were produced before the court during the hearing of accepting the charge-sheet.
Underage Sumi’s trial would be held in the juvenile court.
Oishee’s parents, Special Branch Inspector Mahfuzur Rahman and housewife Swapna Begum, were found stabbed to death in their apartment in Dhaka’s Chamelibagh on Aug 16 last year.
Oishee, who went missing after the gruesome murder, surrendered to police two days later.
Police later arrested housemaid Sumi and Oishee’s friends Rony and Jony.
On Mar 9, police submitted two charge-sheets to the court accusing Oishee of killing her parents.
According to the charge-sheet, Sumi had aided Oishee in the killing. Oishee had also discussed the plan with her friends before the killing.
Police confirmed Oishee’s involvement in the murder by conducting DNA test of blood marks on ornaments and a blood-stained dress she left at home.
Oishee put sleeping pills into coffee to sedate her parents and then stabbed them to death, said Dhaka Metropolitan Police’s Detective Branch Inspector Abu Al Khair, in charge of investigation of the case.
Oishee also gave her confessional statement in the court, saying she murdered her parents, Khair said.
Accepting two charge-sheets submitted by Detective Branch of police Inspector Abul Khair Matubbar in the murder case, Metropolitan Magistrate Maruf Hossain sent the case to Metropolitan Sessions’ Judge Court for trial.
Oishee Rahman and her friends Asaduzzaman Jony and Mizanur Rahman Roni were included in a charge-sheet while the other charge-sheet recommended holding the trial of domestic help Khadiza Khatun at a juvenile court as she is underage.
A total of 57 people have been made witnesses in the charge-sheets that also mentioned 80 items of seizure under eight seizure reports.
On August 16 last year, police recovered the bodies of SB Inspector Mahfuzur Rahman and his wife Swapna Rahman from their Chamelibagh residence in the capital.
Later, their daughter Oishee surrendered to police pleading guilty to the killing.
On August 17, Oishee and their domestic help Khadiza were sent to a Juvenile Correctional Centre in Gazipur.
On August 21, Oishee was taken to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital for some tests to find out her real age.
On August 24, she was taken to the chamber of Metropolitan Magistrate Anwar Sadat who recorded her confessional statement for nearly three hours under section 164 of the CrPC.
On August 29, Oishee was shifted from the Juvenile Correctional Centre to Dhaka Central Jail.
