Chinese envoy calls on DU VC Prof. Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman

Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh Li Jiming has paid a courtesy call on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman at his residential office.
Some other high officials from the Chinese Embassy in Dhaka were also present during the meeting held on Thursday night, reports UNB.
During the meeting, DU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman said an excellent friendly relationship has been prevailing between Bangladesh and China for a long time.
He stressed the need for further strengthening bi-lateral ties between the two countries in different fields including education, research, trade, business, economy and culture.
