Share price index at the country’s both bourses -Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) -witnessed positive trend in early hours of trading on Monday, the second trading day of the week.
The DSE benchmark index, DSEX gained 11.66 points or 0.26 percent to reach 4498.73 at 11:05 am. Of the issues traded till then, 112 gained, 41 declined and 29 remained unchanged.
The CSE key index, CSCX gained 18.66 points to stand at 8559.50, also at 11:05 am today. Of the issues traded till then, 43 gained, 38 declined and 17 remained unchanged.
During the holy month of Ramadan that begins today, the trading at DSE and CSE will start at 10:30 am and continue till 1:30 pm.
