The government is heading towards one-party rule through snatching votes, says Salahuddin
The BNP has alleged that the Election Commission has worked as rubber-stamp of the government during the upazila parishad election.
BNP Joint Secretary General Salahuddin Ahamed made the allegation in a press conference at party’s Nayapaltan headquarters on Thursday afternoon.
“The government is heading towards one-party rule through snatching votes,” said Salahuddin.
He further complained that the government and the Election Commission played shameful role directing the law enforcers to work actively for the ruling party-backed candidates.
