Awami League joint general secretary Mahbub-ul-Alam Hanif on Tuesday observed that BNP has got detached from the people of the country for their wrong politics.
“BNP have gotten detached from the people of the country for their wrong politics. For that reason, they want to create anarchy in the country by creating chaos without any reason,” he said.
The ruling party leader said this while addressing a book unveiling ceremony at Dhaka Reporters Unity in the city.
Replying to BNP’s allegation that Awami League contributed to the rise of militancy in the country, Hanif termed it an unmatchable lie.The people of Bangladesh know who contributed to the rise of militancy, he said.
Urging an end to this type of lying, the ruling party leader said Awami League knows how to stamp out terrorism. “Don’t create confusion among the people through instigative remarks.”
Criticizing the politics of BNP, he said that BNP depended on diplomats and validated waging movement by taking certificate from them.
