BNP alleges ballot stuffing in Dhaka-9, 14
BNP has claimed that ruling party activists have begun stuffing ballots in Dhaka-9 and 14 constituencies just hours ahead of the election.
“They have been provided with an additional ballot box which they are stuffing now. They will show the other empty box to voters in the morning,” Nazrul Islam Khan, the party’s standing committee member, alleged this evening.
“We received information through different sources that ballot boxes and papers reached at different voting centres tonight and the boxes are being filled up,” he said.
Khan, chief of BNP’s election coordination committee, placed the allegations from a press conference party chief Khaleda Zia’s Gulshan office around 10:30pm.
