Rumana Ahmed and Lata Mondal steered Bangladesh women to a 43-run win in their first ODI against Pakistan women in Cox’s Bazar to go one up in the two-match series.
This was Bangladesh women’s third ODI win and their first against Pakistan.
Sent in to bat first at the Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium, Bangladesh women were all out for 152.
Rumana scored highest 44 for the hosts.
Lata then picked up four wickets while Jahanara Alam took three to skittle the visitors out for 109 in 44.1 overs.
The series decider will be at the same venue on Thursday.
