Bangladesh U-19 beat West Indies U-19 by four wickets with 10 overs to spare in the 4th match of the seven-match youth ODI series at Georgetown on Monday.
Chasing a small target of 143, Bangladesh boys had a setback as they lost some early wickets. But Nazmul Hossain Shanto started the recovery pairing with in-form captain Mehedy Hasan Miraz to build a match-winning partnership.
Shanto scored 60 before getting out when the match was almost over for the young West Indians. Bangladesh crossed 143 after losing 6 wickets in the 40th over.
Earlier, Bangladesh bowlers carried their great form to restrict WI for only 143. Miraz took 5 wickets while the hat-trick man of the last match Jubair Hossain added 3 more to his WI series tally.
