Bangladesh have received rating points after their clinical sweep of the three-match ODI series against Pakistan.
The Tigers currently have 81 points at ninth in ICC ODI Team Rankings.
An ICC media release revealed rating points of the two teams after the series ended on Wednesday.
Having secured the series in first two matches by 79 runs and 7 wickets, Bangladesh routed Pakistan by eight wickets at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur.
The hosts started the series with 76 points against Pakistan’s 95.
Pakistan have been pegged back to 92 points as they dropped to eighth spot from seventh in the ranking after the series.
West Indies are now seventh with 92 points.
“And when the ratings are calculated beyond the decimal point, then the West Indies is ranked ahead of Pakistan,” said ICC.
Mashrafe Bin Mortaza and Co had been focussed on improving their ICC ranking.
World champions Australia lead the table with 122 points and India in second place with 116.
