The Bangladesh cricket team has confirmed their ticket to the Champions Trophy to be held in 2017 with the historic series win against India.
With the two consecutive wins against India, the ranking point of Bangladesh has risen to 93 points.
Pakistan with 87 points and West Indies with 88 points are far behind from the Tigers securing them the Champions Trophy ticket.
For the Champions Trophy berth, the equation for Bangladesh was to win two from six matches against India or South Africa.
However, the Tigers secured not just the series win against India by winning first two of the three-match ODI series, but also Champions Trophy schedule.
The latest ICC rankings had an intriguing battle for qualification for the 2017 Champions Trophy tournament. The top seven sides in the world, plus hosts England, will compete in the tournament and the cut-off date for qualification is 30 September, 2015.
