Parag Mondol, the 6-year-old schoolboy who was abducted three days ago from Keraniganj, was rescued from Kamrangirchar area of the capital early Wednesday.
The boy was returned against Tk 50 lakh as ransom, family sources of Parag told The Daily Star.
On information, the family member along with South Keraniganj police went at Atipara in Kamrangirchar area and found Parag there, said Sakhawat Hossain, officer-in-charge of South Keraniganj Police Station.
Parag was taken to Square Hospital in the capital for treatment.
On November 11, criminals abducted the KG-I student of Heed International School shooting his mother, sister and the driver of their family car at Shuvadda Paschim Para in Keraniganj.
