Of the congregations, Dhaka South City Corporation will hold 228 congregations and Dhaka North others, report BSS.
The capital’s main Eid congregation would be held at the National Eidgah at 8.30 am. In case of rough weather, the main congregations will be shifted to the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque, officials said.
They said all preparations to hold the main congregation have been completed and special arrangements have been made for women to offer Eid prayers at the National Eidgah. The arrangement was made for more than one lakh male and 5,000 of women.
Five congregations would be held at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque at 7 am, 8 am, 9 am, 10 am and at 11 am.
The Parliament Secretariat will arrange an Eid congregation at the South Plaza of Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban at 8 am.
Two Eid congregations will be held at Dhaka University Central Mosque at 8 am and 9 am.
Dhaka’s last congregation will be held at Azimpur Chhoto Daira Sharif Masjid at 11am.
In all congregations, special prayers will be offered for unity and integrity of the Muslim ummah, and peace, progress and prosperity of the nation.
