3 Pakistani militants on 13-day remand

A Dhaka court on Monday placed three detained militants of the Pakistan-based Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) on a 13-day remand in two cases.

Metropolitan Magistrate Shahriar Mahmud Adnan passed the order.

Investigation Officer of the cases DB Inspector Ashraful Islam produced them before the court with a 20-day remand plea.

The detained militants have been shown arrested in two cases filed under the Anti-Terrorism Act and Passport Act.

Mehmud, 26, son of Ali Ahmmad from Malir, Usman, 23, son of Mohammad Hasem, and Fakrul Hasan, 50, from Kourangi of Pakistan, were held with bomb-making and training manuals from the capital on Sunday night.
