Two Bangladeshi workers died after falling from an under-construction building in Sharjah city of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Wednesday.
The accident took place at King Faisal Road around 9:30am on Wednesday, Gulf News reported quoting local police. Workers at the site reported the incident to the police operation room.
The 40-year-old worker identified as MHA died on the spot and paramedics transferred his body to Kuwaiti Hospital and then to the forensic laboratory.
The second worker later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at Al Qassimi hospital, official said.
The case is with Al Buhairah police station for further investigations.
Police are urging construction companies to ensure that all safety measures are in place at their worksites in order to avoid similar accidents.
