The demonstrating students of Jahangirnagar University on Monday gave an ultimatum and threatened to observe a strike on 2 and 3 October if the vice-chancellor of the university Farzana Islam does not step down by Tuesday, 1 October.
The faction of students and teachers of Jahangirnagar University under the banner of ‘Jahangirnagar against Corruption’ delivered the ultimatum while staging demonstration on the campus for the seventh consecutive day.
