A 32-year-old man allegedly killed 14 members of his family at their house near Thane in Indian state of Maharashtra and then committed suicide early Sunday morning, reports NDTV.
Among the 14 killed are seven children and six women. The man allegedly killed them by slitting their throats after sedating them.
One woman of the family survived the attack and has been hospitalised.
The man was reportedly found hanging with a knife in his hand.
Police suspect property dispute to be the reason behind the murders.

Report did not high light the fact that the man was a poor Muslim, possibly under severe economic hardship & social confinement. So much for minority welfare in secular India !
