Hasina targets Islamic leaders at India’s instruction: Hizbul Mujhadeen chief

Syed SalahudinIndia-based Hizb-ul-Mujhadeen chief Syed Salahudin on Wednesday strongly condemned the hanging of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami chief Matiur Rahman Nizami and alleged premier Sheikh Hasina was “committing crimes and unleashing terror to appease New Delhi.”

Syed Mohammed Yusuf Shah, or popularly known as Syed Salahudin, is the head of the Hizb-ul-Mujahideen, a Kashmir-based and Islamic Mujahid group operating in Indian Kashmir, and head of an “alliance” of Kashmiri mujahid organisations.

“In order to materialise the dream of creating a Greater India and to have firm control over Kashmir, New Delhi has been using the services of Hasina Wajid and other paid agents,” alleged Salahudin in a statement as reported by greaterkashmir.com.

He further alleged, “Bangladesh prime minister has been dancing on the tunes of India and has been targeting the eminent Muslim religious leaders by implicating and executing them. Bangladesh has virtually become a colony of India and this development can pose serious threat to the Muslim world particularly Pakistan.”

He alleged, “India is trying to create separate settlements for fugitive Pandits and set up Sainik colony in Kashmir to change the Muslim demography in Kashmir. At the same time it is encouraging the pro-Indian Bangladesh head Hasina Wajid to inflict torture and miseries upon the religious heads of the country.”
