Cattle trader picked up by BSF in Chuadanga

Chuadanga, Mar 11 (UNB)– Members of Indian Border Security Force (BSF) picked up a Bangladeshi cattle trader from Benipur frontier in Jibannagar upazila of the district on Sunday night.

The victim was identified as Faruk Hossain, 37, haling from Bittipara village of the same upazila.

Witnesses said a team of the BSF Nonaganj camp detained Faruk and took him away at around 9.00pm, when he was entering Bangladesh with cows through the Benipur border point.

BGB 35 Battalion Commanding Officer Lieutenant Colonel Kazi Asaduzzaman said he had been informed of the matter form intelligence sources.
