Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s proposal for an all-party interim body to conduct the upcoming national election will end the lack of confidence between the government and the opposition, says Workers Party chief Rahed Khan Menon.
He described the concept of the interim body proposed by the Prime Minister to the opposition as ‘positive’.
“The Prime Minister’s address is positive. This I hope will clear the opposition’s lack of confidence [on the government].”

Menon also said the opposition should respond to her call to form an all-party government to conduct the elections.
Sheikh Hasina in her address to the nation on Friday proposed an all-party interim government to conduct the forthcoming 10th parliamentary elections and hoped that opposition BNP would positively respond to her proposal.
