The US ambassador in Dhaka Dan Mozena on Thursday greeted Bangladeshis for ‘a peaceful and reflective’ holy Ramadan as the month of fasting began.
“During this month we take time to focus on our shared values of family, charity, and community which are at the heart of all faiths,” he said in a message.
“The spirit of compassion demonstrates that we can work together to further mutual respect and dialogue that will bring peace and prosperity to our world for the benefit of the generations to come,” the message read.
