Bangladesh opener Tamim Iqbal has become the first player from Bangladesh to score 1,000 runs in Twenty20 International Cricket.
The southpaw has achieved the feat during the Group A match against Oman in the ICC World Twenty20 Qualifiers in Dharamsala on Sunday.
In ODIs, Tamim is at the zenith with 4713 runs from 153 matches.
In Tests, the Chittagong lad posted 3118 runs from 42 matches. His personal best is 206 runs.
