One of Bangladesh’s gravest humanitarian crisis unfolded after a multi-storey building ‘Rana Plaza’ collapsed in Savar on Apr 24.
More than 11,000 people were killed after the building with severe safety hazards collapsed with thousands of workers, who were at work inside the building’s five readymade garment factories.
The long rescue effort went on to save more than 2000 people from under the rubbles.
