Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has gone to the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium to watch the Tigers’ match against Pakistan in the Asia Cup-2016 on Wednesday evening.
Cricket lovers around the globe are keeping their eyes on the tournament’s final match deciding game. Bangladesh will ensure their spot in the final if they win the match against the visitors.
PM Sheikh Hasina reached the stadium at around 8pm, after about half an hour after the match kicked off, said the premier’s additional Press Secretary Ashraful Alam Khokon.
The TV screens showed the PM smiling and clapping at Bangladesh’s performance multiple times from the VIP gallery of the stadium.
Nephew of the PM, Radwan Mujib Siddiq and his wife Peppi Kiviniemi-Siddiq were seen alongside Sheikh Hasina in the stadium.
