Mushfiqur Rahim has issued a heartfelt apology to the nation after the unprecedented loss India at the World T20 Championship at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore on Wednesday.

Mushfiqur Rahim in a Facebook post said:

“Yesterday’s match was very painful for everyone, I know.. But all the team members always try to put everything they have in each match… The loss has caused all of us pain as well.”

“In such a crucial moment, it was not right for me to be out in such a way.. Maybe the team lost because of me… I am deeply sorry to all the people of Bangladesh in that case. I hope to learn from this and will definitely bring back the smiles on your face,” Mushfiqur added.
