A voter ID card has been issued in the name of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the city of Bengaluru of India.
This news came just as the election dates were announced in the city, reports India Today.
According to the report, the card shares other information such as the name, and spouse name correctly but the date of birth is mentioned as 1992.
As per the ID Hasina is a resident of Thanisandra area in Bengaluru. The card clearly shows her picture and names her late husband, Wazed Miah.
This is one of the many cases of faux voter ID cases that came to the light.
But the Karnataka Home Minister K J George was quick to brush this incident under the carpet and said that this is not an authentic ID card.
Probe will be ordered into the matter. The civic polls are due in the month of July, 2015.
