The Home Ministry has ordered the authority concerned to arrest the three RAB officials, who were sent to retirement for their alleged involvement with the Narayanganj seven-murder incident.
After getting the copy of the HC order, the ministry issued the order on Monday afternoon.
State Minister for Home Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said: “We have already ordered the arrest of the three RAB officials as per the High Court directive. They can be arrested any time.”
“Drive to arrest the ex-RAB men will begin anytime,” said police.
Narayanganj city Ward Counsillor Nazrul Islam, lawyer Chandan Sarkar and five others were abducted on April 27. Their bodies surfaced in the Shitalakkhya River three days later. Autopsy report said the seven persons were murdered by professionals.

Following the allegation RAB sent the three officials– former commanding officer of RAB 11 Tareq Sayeed, Major Arif and Lt Commander Rana–to forced retirement.
