Photographs of BNP’s arson victims of were put up on a banner and hanged in front of Khaleda Zia’s office in Gulshan on Thursday.
Khaleda has been staying in her office since January 3, 2015 where her party is running violent operations against the government in which 100 people has been killed till now.
‘Swachetan Tarun Prajanma’ a pro-Awami League activists group put up the banner in front of the BNP office after marching there. Police cut off their march in front of Gulshan School and College situated near the BNP office.
The students participating in the march formed a human-chain in front of the office and held the banner citing, “What was their crime?”
“We demand the termination of such terrorism and militant operations by the BNP-Jamaat alliance. Blockades and strikes are affecting our careers and future. No one wants that,” said Asaduzzaman Ujjal, convener of the group.
Students from various institutions including Dhaka University, Dhaka College and Govt. Titumir College were present in the rally. A similar rally and banner exhibition was carried out by another pro-Awami group last month.
