BNP on Tuesday claimed that the Awami League is actually mocking with the flood affected people as no effective steps have been taken so far to make up the losses.
“Government claims there is no shortage of food. But the food storages are empty. Most of the districts are inundated and they are ravaging with Supreme Court verdict,” BNP’s Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi remarked while attending a press briefing at Nayapaltan.
“Awami League leaders are mocking with the lakhs of flood victims as they are trying to divert the people’s attention from the disaster.,” Rizvi went on to add.
He also said that Awami League leaders are running to Bangabhaban instead of standing by flood victims which should be the most important task at present.
Later, the BNP leader asked all its activists and followers to stand beside the flood victims and help them in every possible ways.
