‘We are not confirmed about the identity of the attacker,’ said Ibrahim, adding that assistant platoon commander Zia, among others, sustained injuries.
About the speculation that clash between Ansar member and cleaners at the airport resulted the attack, Ibrahim said nothing happened like that and ‘we are not clear about the motive of the attack.’
A security official said that the attacker was caught inside the departure lounge as people nearby cordoned him.
