200 workers fall sick at same RMG unit

Trouble continues at a garment factory in Ashulia as over 200 workers fell sick couple of days after as many faced the same drinking water supplied by the factory.

Workers of The Rose Dresses Limited, located on the outskirts of Dhaka, were rushed to two local hospitals.

The workers started to feel sick an hour into drinking water after they had joined their works around 8:00am.

One after another, at least 200 of them fell sick.

They were soon rushed to Centre for Women and Child Health and Nightingale Medical College Hospital in Ashulia.

The production at the factory was suspended for the day.
