Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Thursday called upon the countrymen to offer special prayers and munajat as the country has been saved from the devastating strike of the cyclone Mahasen.
PM’s press secretary Abul Kalam Azad said that the Prime Minister has requested all irrespective of religion to offer special prayers at their convenience in their respective places.
He also said that the Prime Minister has expressed her deep gratitude to Almighty Allah as He had spared the country from the devastating strike of the cyclone, Mahasen.
The cyclone weakened further and crossed Noakhali-Chittagong coast at 4 pm on Thursday.
