After the collapse of their top order, middle order batsmen Nasir Hossain and Mahmudullah steadied Bangladesh to earn a healthy total of 247 in the third and final one-day international against Zimbabwe in Bulawayo Wednesday.

Mahmudullah scored 75 runs off 74 balls and remained unbeaten while Nasir Hossain returned to pavilion scoring  63.

The three-match series now remains level with both the teams winning an ODI each.

Pacer Brian Vitori dismissed Mohammad Ashraful and Jahurul Islam in consecutive deliveries.

Skipper Mushfiqur rahim holed out to Utseya, while Tamim Iqbal offered a catch off Tendai Chatara’s bowling.

Shakib Al Hasan was dismissed by the part time bowler Sean Williams.

Satellite TV channel Ten Cricket is broadcasting the game live.

Zimbabwe captain Brendan Taylor won the toss and invited the Tigers to bat.

The two teams have drawn level against each other on this tour so far, winning a Test and an ODI each.

Hosts Zimbabwe won the first Test by 335 runs while the Tigers beat Zimbabwe by 143 runs in the second, ending the two-match test series in a 1-1 stalemate.

In the ODI series, Bangladesh routed Zimbabwe by 121 runs in the first ODI, whereas the hosts came back with a 6-wicket win to draw level in the series.

The teams made one change each in their squads, as Bangladesh brought in Jahurul Islam in the place of Mominul haque, while Brian Vitori replaced Shingi Masakadza.
