Students protest terror attack on Gonoshasthaya Kendra

Students of Gonoshasthaya Kendra in Savar, which faced a terror attack on Friday, formed a human chain here on Saturday noon protesting the attack and demanding punishment of the attackers.

Hundreds of students formed the human chain around 12:30pm inside the campus.

The attackers broke the windows, doors and looted office equipment of a building of Gonoshasthaya Kendra in Savar on Friday last.

They also hung a banner reading, ‘Cotton Textile Crafts Ltd’ in front of the PHA Bhaban.

According to Gonoshasthaya employees and locals, the terrorists attacked and vandalized multiple times on the day.

Meanwhile, Krishak Sramik Janata League President Abdul Kader Siddique visited the campus and talked with students and staff of Gonoshasthaya Kendra, reports Daily Star.

He strongly condemned the attacks and assured the victims that he will raise the matter in front of higher authorities, the daily said.
