Next polls under interim govt: Muhith

News - Next polls under interim govt: Muhith
Finance Minister AMA Muhith, now in Washington, has said the next general election will be held under an interim government.
He made the remark while responding to journalists in Washington at a function arranged to celebrate Bangla New Year 1420.
Muhith said there should be a promise in the New Year to resist the fanatic and fundamentalist forces.
Bangladesh Embassy in Washington arranged the function at the Bangabandhu auditorium of the Embassy where Muhith attended as the chief guest, according to a message received here on Monday.
Bangladesh Ambassador to the USA Akramul Qader exchanged New Year’s greetings with the guests.
Qader hoped that the Pahela Boishakh celebrations at the embassy and in other places of the USA would make the new generation of Bangladeshis familiar with the rich cultural aspects of the country.
He also appealed to diaspora to help retain a secular democratic and non-communal character of Bangladesh, and hoped that defeated forces of 1971 will never be able to raise their monstrous heads.
A large number of Bangladesh diaspora, businessman, journalists and foreign nationals were present on the occasion.

Would that election result be accepted by the “JONOGON” of Bangladesh and outside world?
