Khaleda urges national unity

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia on Saturday urged the people of Bangladesh to work for national unity in line with the spirit of the Liberation War in order to safeguard democracy.

She made the call in a message greeting Bangladeshis on the occasion of Victory Day.

Without mentioning any name, Khaleda also said, “The imperialist forces are out to make Bangladesh a slave country by snatching its independence.”

Some ‘identified quarter’ of the country is backing the ‘imperialist forces’, she said.

“So, we will have to build the national unity to save the country’s independence,” she added.

The BNP chief also remembered those killed and tortured by the Pakistani forces during the War in 1971.

  1. Dear madam Khaleda Zia,

What did you mean by NATIONAL UNITY ??? Please clarify. You had been always haisy with the issues of ” WAR CRIMINALS” 1971, YOUR BIRTHDAY, DECLERATION OF INDEPENDENCE ETC. or, did you mean to unify with your home-country, Pakistan ???? or with your blood, SHIBIR AND JAMAT CRIMINALS ?? We must know your positions or else, people shall reject you once again very clearly in the next elections…… BANGLADESH SHALL BE FREE FROM ALL CRIMINALS LIKE YOUR BLOODS…..
