Khaleda returns home from Singapore

 BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia returned home on Monday night, after her weeklong tour of Singapore for medical treatment.

Khaleda, also the leader of the opposition in parliament, arrived at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport around 10:40pm in a flight of Singapore Airlines, her press wing member Sayrul Kabir Khan told UNB.

Senior BNP leaders, including BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Moudud Ahmed, MK Anwar, Mirza Abbas, Nazrul Islam Khan and Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, received her at the airport

Later, she drove straight to her Gulshan residence.

The former premier went to Singapore for treatment on June 16. Earlier on February 19 this year, Khaleda had also been in Singapore for medical treatment of her knee, throat and tooth complications.
